Trainee Python Data Analyst
Job Description
- Assist the Product Owner in preparing detailed user requirements and stories, in consideration of the product roadmap and sprint capacity
- Define and prepare business specification, test cases and support business testing
- Work with business users, product owners and IT teams to gather business requirements and perform business analysis
- Act as a liaison between the development team and various stakeholders
- Maintain product backlog in JIRA and monitor the progress via daily scrum meetings
- Participate in the development process including requirement gathering, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Propose, review business requirements and ensure they align with global standards
- Answer user queries in timely manner
Responsibilities
You will collaborate with our dynamic team at the InnoCentre in Kowloon Tong, while virtually engaging with our global partners across Greater China, the Netherlands, Canada, and the UK. The ideal candidate will consistently meet key performance indicators, demonstrate innovation and flexibility in approach, and take full accountability for their assigned areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Preferably a Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline
- 0-3 years solid experience in IT industry
- Knowledge of general web applications and learning management systems
- Knowledge in software testing process and methodology, and System Development Life Cycle is an advantage
- Experience of web and mobile software testing using Jira and Confluence is an advantage
- Understand how to use git and solve git merge issues with ease
- Has conducted full SDLC and experience working with agile development team
- Has knowledge about CI/CD concepts
- Good communication skill in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
